Urbiz Garden Plage: Your Home of Tranquility and Fun Experience
I always love to hear the waves crashing and breathe the
cold winds that soothe my body and soul. These become my routine whenever I
wanted to escape from the unending stress of this world. Might as well, Urbiz
Garden Plage of Brgy. Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union will ease your scruffy
life in the city where you can connect to yourself and attain inner peace.
Urbiz
Garden Plage is one of the oldest bed and breakfast inns and was established in
2001 as a residential summer villa owned by Ms. Rosario Fontanilla better known
as “Lola Charing”. As a whole, the place resembles the aesthetics of American
Colonial architecture, though its interior design is a concept of an eclectic
mix of Ilokano and Filipino.
Due to costly maintenance of the place, they decided to
open it as semi-private bed and breakfast inns for selected guest and walk-ins
way back in 2007. And they finally open their door to public last year (2015)
after Lola Charing passed away.
Aside from the house, cottages fronting the beach were
also available where you can enjoy your boodle fight meal while watching the
surfers and beach’s waves that branded San Juan as the Surfing Capital of the
North.
Served
meals are typically Ilocano delicacies that will literally banish the taste of
the urban food on your taste buds. But you can also include your ideal food in
the menu list.
Most rooms offer less television which unplugs you from
technology. The breeze of the cold wind is indeed an economical and natural
ventilation rather than of using their A/C. Its calmness let you obtain a
tranquil stay. A perfect spot for soul searching! It helps you recollect and
rebuild yourself.
Oops! Don’t be hesitant to bring with you your pets
because Urbiz Garden and Oreo will surely welcome you warmly.
What captivates me are not just those amenities that
least found and offered by others but I personally admire the garden that
comprises the whole backyards which add more vibrancy to the place. Various old varieties of trees where I intend
to meditate beneath its shed. Flowering plants which are perfect background for
selfies. And a lit’l bet attracted with the stones around the place.
I might always in La Union, witnessing the same spots but the ambiance of Urbiz Garden is hard to relocate plus the vibe of being at home is what makes it a truly home for everyone where I and you always look forward to go back again and again and again.
